Delete your account

In the app

• Open got you and tap the round button at the top right to open Settings.
• With an account: tap your name at the top, then "Delete account" at the bottom, and confirm it is you (your password, your Google or Apple sign-in, or a code we email you). Without one: tap "Delete my data" at the bottom and confirm.

This happens at once and cannot be undone.

Without the app

Write to [email protected] from the email address of your got you account and ask for it to be deleted. We will do it within 30 days and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account: name, email address, password, Google or Apple sign-in.
• Everything you added: people, what you remembered about them, occasions, gifts, photos.
• Your settings and sessions.

Nothing is kept. Database backups roll over after 14 days.

To delete only part of what you added, delete it in the app: people, occasions, facts and notes can each be deleted, and gifts archived.
